What is this that I feel? Is this Enjoyment and Happiness?
I have not felt these in such a time, such a time as I cannot
remember them.

What is this that I feel? Is this Enjoyment and Happiness?
I have not felt these in such a time, such a time as I cannot
remember them.
Outside to all appearing happy and content. Inside, to me,
I am all turmoil and deceit. I do not deserve these feelings,
I must do something about it.
Without warning or thought I make the choice. I chose the path
that will destroy everything I hold dear and true. I go down
the road that I swore and vowed to God, to Queen and to wife I would not.
Suddenly, just as all was seeming bright, my monsters lash out.
They strike deep and true, destroying all the light, leaving only
darkness and despair.
I no longer deserve the light and happiness, my fight is all gone
I am broken and battered my fight is all but spent.
I am surrounded by the great abyss.
