The Darkness
The Darkness Surrounds me,The Light is all gone now
A Loud Bang is Heard as a door is slammed shut
The feelings of loss and despair engulf as the opportunity for
redemption slips away.
The Monster Open's it's jaws.

The feelings of loss and despair engulf as the opportunity for
redemption slips away.
There is no where to go, there is no where to hide
Everything is now laid bare for all to see and gawk.
Then, reaching out of the abyss, the tentacles stab.
Then the sound of the Monster Reverberates through my head.
A weak cry, like a kittens mew, escapes my lips as a feeling of dread
and despair engulfs me.
There is no longer anywhere to go, there is no escaping the blackness
All alone and forgotten, hated for all time, the crimes have been sentenced
All resistance is now gone as the jaws of the Monster Open wide.
